In this video, I’m showcasing NVIDIA RTX Remix technology in action—this time with Half-Life 2 upgraded with RTX enhancements. Following the Portal RTX upgrade, Half-Life 2 has now received the RTX treatment, bringing ray tracing, improved lighting, reflections, and enhanced textures to the classic game.
What makes this even more interesting? I’m running this on a Mac Pro 5,1, upgraded with an NVIDIA RTX 4060. While Macs aren’t typically known for RTX gaming, with the right setup and tweaks, it’s possible to get incredible ray-traced visuals on older hardware.
