In this video, I show you how to easily install DaVinci Resolve on Bazzite Linux using the ujust install-resolve command. It’s a quick and reliable way to get up and running with one of the most powerful video editors on an advanced Linux setup.

Bazzite is an immutable Fedora-based Linux distro, which means the core system is locked down and read-only. That might sound restrictive at first — but it’s actually designed for stability, security, and performance. You don’t have to worry about breaking your system by installing the wrong package or changing a system file.

Even though the system itself is immutable, Bazzite is still super flexible — especially with tools like Distrobox. Distrobox lets you run full Linux distributions like Ubuntu or Arch in containers alongside your main system. It’s perfect for using other package managers, testing tools, or setting up dev environments — all without touching the core system.

ujust install-resolve

This takes care of installing DaVinci Resolve on Bazzite, including dependencies and setup — no manual steps required.
