That might sound restrictive at first — but it’s actually designed for stability, security, and performance. You don’t have to worry about breaking your system by installing the wrong package or changing a system file.

Even though the system itself is immutable, Bazzite is still super flexible — especially with tools like Distrobox. Distrobox lets you run full Linux distributions like Ubuntu or Arch in containers alongside your main system. It’s perfect for using other package managers, testing tools, or setting up dev environments — all without touching the core system.
